Twitter’s new SF offices: I’m so nosy

November 17, 2009

One of my Penelope traits is that I love to see how other people work. I’m fascinated by workplaces and what they say about the people who work there and the company overall. So, one of my favorite websites is Office Snapshots, which gives an insider’s view into many workplaces, some famous, some not.

Today, they featured Twitter’s new SF office space. I love it. I love peeking inside. Admiring some things, passing judgment, you know, the usual.

I especially love the birds on the glass blue-green walls. Such a nice incorporation of their logo/brand into the more subtle feel of their SF office. Nicely done!

Lovely waiting area, simple, clean, uncluttered.

Love the kitchen, but the milk cartons being out really, really bothers me. Why would someone use the milk, let alone two cartons, and just walk away? WHY? I can actually HEAR the milk going sour. Can’t you, Penelope?

Finally, I think this photo is strangely pretty and an odd addition to this group of photos. How ’bout using it (properly credited to the folks at Twitter, of course!) as your desktop wallpaper or background? I did.

All photos courtesy Twitter.
