Last week, we wrapped up our 7-week Blogging Your Way class, which was taught by Holly Becker at Decor8. The class was incredibly worthwhile (Holly will be doing another this fall, so watch for those dates on her website), but one of my favorite parts of it was meeting so many talented bloggers. I thought I’d give a little love to five of my (many) favorites.
Bonnie brings us a site about everything handmade and homegrown. Sounds perfect, doesn’t it? Her photography is excellent and her recipes delicious. Bonnie always inspires me to step away from the computer and create something in the real world.
I think Holly is going to be the next Dooce. She is a super hilarious woman and her blog has become one I visit whenever I need a good laugh. Holly is someone who makes you wish you could hang out with her. Luckily, through her blog, we all can.
MarieĀ brings us Blushing and Sweet and her blog is certainly both. I love the mix of things she writes about, the common thread is content that’s always pretty and positive.
The look of this blog captured me first, I love the design sensibility. But, Carrie is more than a pretty blog face, she writes heartfelt posts and shares her life and all the funny, the frustrating and the fun that goes along with it.
Emily Horak brings us “Hello Self”, a companion blog to her Life Coaching business. Her posts are both thoughtful and thought provoking. Emily’s not preachy, just challenging, and I love that.
PS: Happy 15th Birthday to my sweet, clever, amazing daughter. You’re the perfect Teen Penelope and I’m so proud to me be your mom.

@Kristi and Amanda: I know! One of my favorite kinds of blog posts are the ones where the blogger shares new blog “finds”. So great to get a head’s up on new blogs to keep up with.
