Hi Penelopes,
Long time no see! I’m so sorry to have gone MIA for so long. Thanks to everyone who’s emailed asking if we’re ok. We are! In fact, we’re doing great.
I wanted to do a quick post to introduce you to the now 4 month old (!!) Jackson. He was born on August 16th and weighed 8 lbs, 8 oz. His entrance to the world was nothing I could have ever expected and probably deserves a whole post all to itself. Four months later, I’m just happy he’s here and healthy. Jackson is a super mellow baby, for which this mama is unspeakably grateful.
Being pregnant and having a newborn have taught me a lot about being a Penelope. And, both those things changed me, too. I can’t wait to write more about that in the coming months. Now that Jackson is a bit older and has a more regular schedule, I’m hoping very much to be posting her more regularly. I’ve missed you all so much.

Congrats on your sweet son! He is just 8 days younger than my grandson, who happens to live with us, with his mommy. I care for him while Mommy works and know how busy your sweet boy must keep you! He is adorable.

I found via a Google search and boy and I glad I did. I see by your comments that you have many fans that miss you. I guess I am adding myself to the list even after this one visit. Believe it or not, my sister and I have a secret Penelope joke ( she is 11.5 years my junior ) and we laugh about the same things that you have written about in your “about ” section.
I guess what I want to say is …”don’t give up.” I feel like from just what I have read you have lots to say, teach, and do. Use this blog as your “journal” if you will and have fun. SInce you love lists too, I thought I would share my sister’s blog. She has 2 boys …2yrs. and 20 months. She is also a working mom, and they keep her very busy! I think you would be encouraged by her new “list” blogging. Very cute and oh, so simple! I just might copy her method.
Well, Off to scratch off my to- do list. God Bless and looking forward to reading more about your precious Jackson.
