Happy Tape makes me want to dance a little jig

February 21, 2010

Things I love about Happy Tape:

1) that such a thing exists
2) that it’s called Happy Tape, because, really, why shouldn’t tape be happy?
3) that even tape can be pretty. Course, this sets the bar high for other things. Like, toilet paper, you’re going to need to raise your game, dude.
4) that they have products called the “Cool Cranberry 5 pack”. Doesn’t that sound awesome? Or, at least, like an awesome drink?
5) that the internet makes it possible for us to get this fantastic Japanese product here in the USA.

They even have their own dispenser, which is pretty in and of itself.

Hello, my name is Whitney and I’m a Japanese washi tape addict. :)
Ok, not really an addict, but I do love this stuff (I’ve blogged about it 16+ times!). One of my favorite ways to use it is on file folders so I can reuse the folder, plus it makes it pretty.

I LOVE this tape! It would be the perfect solution to creatively displaying pictures of my knitting designs. Plus, I could use it to dress up and customize my scrapbooks…awesome!

i’m a huge fan of this japanese tape – my 25 rolls is not enough and i’m now in need of patterned stuff after these pics! I just transformed my kids table and chair set with coloured masking tape so it really can be used for almost anything!!

About time these got invented. The clear tapes were ok but its been a while since they have had art incorporated in them!

Lori February 27, 2010 at 8:03 pm

I realize this is an old blog, but I’ve only recently discovered you and I’m reading everything at once. (I’ll be so sad once I’m caught up and have to wait to read something new.) This tape is awesome and I’m bouncing off the walls exited about it! There was a stationary store when I was in middle school where I used to but pretty argyle tape. Oh, that store was heaven! You could buy individual sheets of pretty paper and envelopes. This was way before Michaels and scrapbooking supplies. Thanks you for the blast from the past. This made me way happier than a normal person should be about tape.
